About RAFAEL
Puerto Rico’s history is woven into its people—every son and daughter of our homeland carries within a steadfast and almost sacred love for the Island of Enchantment.
That love can be felt everywhere: in the colorful parades that pass through our towns, in the rhythm of our celebrations, and in every artist who has had the privilege of calling this island home.
One of those artists is Rafael Mulett Irizarry, from Dorado. Through his brushstrokes, he captured the soul of Borinquén—the pride of our people, the beauty of our land, and the everyday moments that make Puerto Rico unlike any other place.
His work is not only art... it is a heartbeat, a memory, a reminder of who we are.

From Dorado to the World — Where Art, Heritage, and Home Come to Life
In a small studio in Dorado, Puerto Rico—where the Atlantic breeze carries the scent of salt and the coquí sings faithfully each night—an artist named Rafael Mulett Irizarry spent decades painting the soul of this island.
He captured the Puerto Rico we grew up with: the piragua vendor on a warm afternoon, the jíbaro dancing to the sound of the cuatro, the fisherman greeting the sunrise, the domino table that never sleeps.
Scenes that feel like memories… because they are.
Today, Galería El Coquí y Más exists with one purpose:
To preserve the beauty, nostalgia, and cultural heartbeat of Puerto Rico—and share it with the world.
Each print in this gallery is a window into the Puerto Rico we love. A reminder of home for the diaspora. A celebration of identity for our island. A way for art lovers everywhere to own a piece of the spirit of Borinquén.
We honor Rafael Mulett’s legacy by offering high-quality fine art prints, crafted with care, shipped worldwide, and made to last.
Because Puerto Rican art should live—not fade. And our stories should be seen—not forgotten.
Welcome to Galería El Coquí y Más. Where Puerto Rico lives forever.
